The Mongers is a stirring theatrical-dance work about a group of characters sharing a closed living space who discover the power of freedom and cooperation through movement, imagination, and humor. The work combines a rich movement language and ethnic, contemporary motifs within a vibrant visual world. The soundtrack, which offers Gypsy and Balkan music alongside classics and rock, creates an energetic, rhythmic experience for the whole family.

Inbal is Israel’s first and oldest dance company and one of the country’s most distinctive cultural institutions. Founded in 1949 by Sara Levi Tanai, the company’s mission is to develop contemporary dance languages rooted in the diverse traditions of Jewish communities, especially those from the Middle East and North Africa. The company is known for poetic physicality, theatricality, musical richness, and a deep connection to heritage. Under the artistic direction of Barak Marshall, the company is committed to continuing to evolve as a platform for new artistic creation and cultural dialogue in Israeli dance.
